Annual Assembly

Plans the educational content of the statewide PSHP Annual Assembly held each fall. Chair: Tucker Freedy

Awards and Nominations Committee

Responsible for placing calls for nominations for all PSHP awards, reviewing candidate criteria, and selecting award winners. The committee also prepares the annual PSHP slate of officers for election.

Finance Committee

Advises the Board of Directors on the financial positioning of the Society, makes recommendations for an annual budget to the Board of Directors and changes to that budget during the year as needed and establishes finance Policies and guidelines to be approved by the Board of Directors. Chair: Gerry Meyer

Legislative Committee

Involved in maintaining an understanding of legal and regulatory issues and their potential effect on health-system practice. Chair: Kim Burns, R.Ph., J.D., Lecom School of Pharmacy.

Membership Committee

Plans annual member recruitment and retention campaigns and identifies member needs and desired services. Chair: Rafael Saenz, Pharm.D., University of Pittsburgh Medical Center

Professional Practice Committee

Responsible for improving pharmacy practice in hospitals and affiliated facilities by developing standards, guidelines and related materials. Chair: Vince LaCroce, Pharm.D., Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
